Home Sweet Greenwich
Out in Greenwich for a bit spending some time with family and getting things sorted before I start work.
I’m writing this from the green fields of my parent’s house. The air sure is lot nicer here than Worcester.
I’m out spending probably the longest period here that I ever will again. Dunno how I feel about that. Really looking forward to complete independence ... but ...
Going to find myself a car. It’s so exciting—I’ve been begging rides for so long and now I can afford something nice. I’m looking into the VW GTI and the Ford Focus ZTS. We’ll see what I can turn up over the next week or so. Expect pictures.
I also need to find an apartment. It’s going to be interesting moving all my stuff from where it’s been for three years now. Leaving a lot of memories behind—ranging from really good to really bad to just pain weird.
I read more of Manifold Space. I’m pretty impressed with the vision. I’d have to say that my main emotional reaction is one of rage at the laziness humaity displays in the story. I also burned a nice CD for the train ride and prompty left it on my desk when I left. Isn’t that always the way?
